(President) - Nigel E. John is President of Next Millennium Entertianment. Nigel is a renowned audio engineer, producer, and artist with over 20 years of experience, hailing from Hell’s Kitchen, NYC. His journey began as a DJ, spinning at iconic clubs like Mirage (now Terminal 5).  Nigel John’s passion for blending and scratching beats evolved into a love for music production and engineering, prompting him to pursue formal training at the Institute of Audio Research.

 

 After graduating, Nigel founded Next Millennium Entertainment, an entertainment company with a mixing and mastering facility. Early in his career, he worked with rising star Nicki Minaj, who gained recognition after recording successful tracks at Next Millennium Studios. At the time, she was managed alongside Jamal “Gravy” Woolard, who exclusively recorded with Nigel. Gravy later signed a deal with Warner Bros. and later gained notoriety for portraying Biggie Smalls in the biopic Notorious.

 

 Since launching Next Millennium in 2004, Nigel John has worked with a roster of influential urban and independent artists, including The Diplomats, French Montana, and Loaded Lux. His studio became a hidden hub for Hip-Hop’s independent acts during that era.  Building on this success, Nigel relocated his studio to Lower Manhattan, sharing a building with the legendary D&D Studios, which produced records for Nas, Biggie, Jay-Z, and more. This proximity to greatness enabled Nigel to collaborate with mixing legend DJ Premier, contributing to Royce da 5’9”’s Street Hop album and DJ Premier’s group NYG’z. Other memorable moments include collaborations with Dipset, French Montana, and Uncle Murda.

  

Nigel has also toured with industry icons like Busta Rhymes and continues to work with both major and independent artists. His recent projects include singles with Jim Jones, Maino, and Amina Buddafly from Love & Hip-Hop.  As a producer, he released an album project titled: “Love/War,” which was self-produced and is available on iTunes. The video for his single “Grinding/Put It All Behind Me” can be found on YouTube, showcasing his artistic vision and enduring influence in the music industry.

 

Nigel John currently has several singles under his name as an artist - Saga Legin. Saga's latest singles, “9/11 - No Justice No Peace,” and “Our Reality” reflects his dedication to storytelling conscious driven hip-hop. Notably, Nigel John has left his mark on the industry. 

 

Nigel John will take this experience and develop new talent and work with CW One Music Group with engineering and production to bring a solid base in music structure and sound.
